Greenland was established in 1996 in Mount Waverley, with a vision of creating a positive environment in childcare for our children and giving them the best possible start in life.      

As a family-owned and operated service, Greenland has always been about family values, learning and play as well as providing a safe, positive and nurturing environment. 

Our centre believes that children learn through play, to become confident and involved learners. I believe that the children’s early years are the most significant for their development.

We believe for children to develop to their full potential they need to feel they belong by feeling loved nurtured and cared for feeling accepted for who they are.

We believe that Educators need to work in partnership with families, as they are their primary educators to provide professional and high quality care and education for young children. 

Due to our passion for pre-school education, we expanded our services to building another Greenland in Glen Waverley and now in Burwood.

Greenland is where your children will begin their educational journey and develop long life friendships along the way. We believe that all families and children should have access to affordable quality early learning and care; with more than 24 years experience in Early Childhood we are passionate about creating a warm, loving and safe environment for children and families, every time they walk into our centres.

Our dedicated educators provide play-based learning and the full range of services designed to support our busy families.

All our centres operate independently, providing long day care and Government approved Kindergarten Programs.

We are a family owned and operated long day care with integrated 4 year old Kindergarten and has professional and dedicated educators that provide high quality education and care for all children attending our centres.

About our Curriculum

Our children of will face many challenges as they entre a vigorously changing world.

Educators implement a curriculum in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards, reflects individual children.

Based on interests and developments while working alongside of families to participate in our programs sharing information on their child’s interest like, dislikes, these are observed and extended to form the foundation of our program.
